Thanks from Junior Hill

Thank you Alabama pastors and churches for your overwhelming concern for my recent illness. I have been astounded by your calls, letters and e-mails.
Had I known that getting sick in public would bring such an outpouring of love, I would have done it sooner.
Thankfully it was not my heart but only a virus, which has now passed. I am feeling wonderfully well and preached again last Sunday (Nov. 18).

I told my wife, Carole, that after 40 years of making folks sick when they heard me preach, I guess it was just my time to get sick watching them listen.
If nothing else, this experience just confirmed one thing I already knew: The pastors and churches of this state are incredibly kind and gracious. With all my heart, I love you.
