The Alabama Baptist’s advance preview popular among church leaders

The Alabama Baptist’s Pastors Connection continues to gain in popularity among pastors and church leaders. More than 50 percent of respondents to a recent survey said they read Pastors Connection — an advance preview of the contents of each issue of The Alabama Baptist — every week or close to it.

A substantial number of the leaders who responded reported using the news they received through Pastors Connection. Nearly 60 percent of respondents appreciated having advance information on weekly stories. Sixty-five percent of pastors used the early notifications personally, while almost half shared the information with church members.

The Alabama Baptist’s Pastors Connection electronic newsletter comes out each Tuesday afternoon and is delivered as a link in an email message. The Pastors Connection service is available at no cost to subscribers to the state Baptist paper.

By subscribing to Pastors Connection, church staff and ministry leaders are able to benefit from advance knowledge of information related to the work of Alabama Baptists around the state as well as news from around the nation and world.
