Bad reviews for The Michael Gungor Band should be hard to come by. The unique music of the Denver worship band’s debut is not just simultaneously catchy and emotional, and mainstream yet hip, but it also has compelling weightiness of purpose.
Perhaps this is what should happen when friends and even family (Gungor’s wife Lisa helps sing) collaborate to worship the Lord. With Gungor and company, there can be no denying — that special quality is there from the get-go. Good job. Great job.
