Fans of Third Day have longed for the band to record both a live album and a worship album. The band heard these pleas, and has gladly obliged their fans with their newest release.  “Offerings: A Worship Album” is a combination of live recordings of previously released Third Day material as well as studio recordings of five new worship songs.

On each of the band’s previous albums, Third Day has included several of its own worship songs.  These songs have become the staples of the band’s repertoire. “Offerings” was assembled to not only showcase these songs, but to invite the listener into a time of worship and praise.

A surprising contribution to the album is Third Day’s cover of the song “Saved,” which was originally written and recorded by music great Bob Dylan.

For anyone who has ever attended a Third Day concert, you are aware of the band’s commitment to leading its fans in a meaningful time of worship.  This album gives the listener a glimpse into those intimate moments shared by Third Day and its fans. “Offerings” is a unique collection of songs that reveals the heart of the band as they strive to honor Jesus Christ through their music.
