Thorington Road Baptist Church, Montgomery, hosted a ‘Welcome Neighbors’ party July 27. With hundreds of new families moving into the neighborhood around the church via the Air War College, the event was organized to provide vendors the opportunity to introduce their businesses to newcomers from around the world. ‘Thank you, church, for this creative way of presenting the gospel above all,’ said Neal Hughes, associational mission strategist for Montgomery Baptist Association.
