1. Do some research to learn what’s available to do during your vacation. There are a number of guidebooks focused on Walt Disney World Resort.
2. Schedule your time wisely. Make a short list of the "must do’s" and "must sees" for each day to keep from over-crowding your day.
3. Purchase tickets that suit your needs. Disne y World offers Magic Your Way, which allows the guest to tailor their ticket for a customized vacation experience. You decide how many days’ worth of theme park tickets you want to buy, and what attractions you want to visit and when.
4. The longer you stay, the less you pay per day. The Magic Your Way ticket rewards longer stays with significantly lower per-day costs. For instance, the per-day cost for a 10-day ticket is one-third the price of a one-day ticket.
5. Staying at a Disney resort has benefits, including proximity to theme parks, use of the Disney transportation system, Extra Magic Hours — time exclusively for guests staying at Disney resorts-with appropriate tickets — and Disney’s Magical Express for guests who are arriving by domestic air career at Orlando International Airport.
6. Make those "must-do" dining arrangements ahead of time, whether it’s a mealtime with those lovable Disney characters or dinner at Central Florida’s only AAA Five-Diamond restaurant — Victoria & Albert’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
7. Pack comfortable footwear. The stroll around World Showcase Lagoon in Epcot is more than a mile.
8. Don’t forget the sunscreen.
9. Use Disney’s FASTPASS, available to all guests with valid theme park tickets. At attractions offering FASTPASS, you can obtain a ticket imprinted with a window of time when you can return and experience the attraction without waiting in the standby line.
10. Everybody loves a parade. That’s potentially great news, because it is a good time to catch a ride on some of the more popular attractions.
