Tuckers named to NAMB’s Mission Service Corps

Alabamian Ashley Tucker and her husband, Jimmy, have been assigned to Mission Service Corps volunteers to Casper, Wyo.

The Tuckers are serving for two years as house-parents for the Massingale Mission Home where they will supervise seven college student missionaries from across the country who will be lodged there. The students are serving one-year terms as semester missionaries as part of the North American Mission Board semester missionary program. They will assist small Southern Baptist churches in the Casper area who are in need of youth, children and music ministers but cannot afford full-time staff members.

The Tuckers’ role as house-parents will include meal preparation, making sure the students arrive at their jobs on time and assisting them wherever there is a need.

The couple previously served in a variety of mission experiences including several international stints. (TAB)
