Members of seven Tuscaloosa Baptist Association churches were among more than 250 youth and adults doing missions work June 11–15 as part of Reach Out Tuscaloosa along a 27-mile span of Mississippi’s Gulf Coast ravaged by Hurricane Katrina. There were 22 teams working at a dozen sites including Biloxi, Gulfport and Pass Christian. The Tuscaloosa Association churches involved were First Baptist, Tuscaloosa; Calvary Baptist, Tuscaloosa; Chapel Hill Baptist, Northport; Grant’s Creek Baptist, Fosters; Valley View Baptist, Tuscaloosa; Circlewood Baptist, Tuscaloosa; and Skyland Boulevard Baptist, Tuscaloosa.
