Five churches and two associations have been awarded the first LINKie Awards for interactive excellence.
Two churches and one association from Alabama received the awards: North Highlands Student Ministry of Hueytown, First Baptist Church of Pelham and Birmingham Baptist Association.
Presented by lifewaylink.com, a provider of church Web site development tools and hosting, the awards recognize outstanding use of Web sites for ministry. The recipients of the LINKie Awards excel in online areas such as community outreach, congregational communications and innovative technology, said Tim Vineyard, vice president of the Technology Division, LifeWay Christian Resources.
