Two teams help after floods in Rhode Island

While many Alabama Baptist disaster relief teams were being deployed to areas in the state April 25, a disaster relief team from Mud Creek Baptist Association was on its way to Rhode Island to help with flood cleanup efforts.

Mud Creek Association took a mud-out team to clear away mud and mold built up in the flooded homes. On May 2, that team returned to Alabama and a mud out team from Colbert-Lauderdale Baptist Association left to continue the work in Rhode Island. That team is expected to return May 9. Alabama is partnering with the North American Mission Board in this work. (TAB)
