UM Concert Features ‘American Sound’:

The Center for Performing Arts at the University of Mobile (UM) will host American Sound, a musical event featuring the works of American composers, Jan. 30 at 7:30 p.m. in Moorer Auditorium in Martin Hall.

Soprano Allanda Small, assistant professor of music at UM, will perform a vocal recital featuring the music of George Gershwin, H. Leslie Adams, Amy Beach, Edwin Penhorwood and Cole Porter. Christopher Lovely, adjunct instructor of piano, will accompany Small.
