Recent graduates of the UM school of nursing had excellent passing rates on the NCLEX, or National Council Licensure Examination, according to Elizabeth Flanagan, dean of the school of nursing.
Flanagan said UM graduates in the associate degree in nursing program scored a 95 percent passing rate, while students in the bachelor of science in nursing program scored a 92 percent passing rate.
