UM Students Honored in Competition

Eight students from the University of Mobile placed at the 2006 National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) Student Auditions for the Southeastern region.

Each year, students from around the Southeast attend the Student Auditions, which are sponsored by the NATS Southeastern region.

The students and the categories in which they placed are:

Ashley Hughes, semifinalist, First Year College Women; Shanna Meadows, semifinalist, First Year College Women; Jamal Trimble, semifinalist, First Year College Men; Lydia Bru, finalist, Second Year College Women; Jason O’Neal, finalist, Third Year College Men and Upper Level College Men Musical Theater; Nick Yarborough, finalist, Third Year Men; Stephanie Smith, finalist, Fourth Year College Women; and Brandon Davis, finalist, Lower Level Adult Men.
