UM Wins National Advertising Awards

The University of Mobile (UM) received four national awards in the 22nd Annual Admissions Advertising Awards competition, which honors the best in public relations and marketing among educational institutions.

The competition is sponsored by Admissions Marketing Report, the national magazine of admissions marketing.

UM received a Gold Award for Total Public Relations Program for its second annual scholarship banquet, a Silver Award in Internet/Web site for the admissions site and merit awards in the Poster and Newsletter categories for the Bethany Dillon concert poster and the Ram Report newsletter.

More than 2,100 entries from more than 1,200 colleges, universities and secondary schools were submitted from all 50 states and several foreign countries.

The Annual Admissions Advertising Awards is the oldest and largest educational advertising awards competition in the country.
