The Student Government Association at the University of Mobile announced the new cabinet for the 2010–11 school year.
Officers are Morgan Carnley, of Enterprise, president; Josh Hembree, of Mobile, vice president; Amy Wright, of Mobile, secretary of academic affairs; Katie Allred, of Clanton, secretary of technological advancement; and Sara Dye, of Huntsville, secretary of campus relations.

Camp Ground Baptist Church, Ozark, celebrated its 175th anniversary Sept. 28. Al Sonanstine, a former pastor, was the guest preacher, and Chris Woodall, another former pastor, led in prayer and recounted the history of the church.
