University Church, Huntsville, staff change

Bobby Burt is the new pastor of University Church, Huntsville. He comes to the position from First Church, LaPlace, La., where he served as pastor. A native of Tupelo, Miss., Burt holds a bachelor’s degree from Mississippi State University in Starkville; a master of divinity from Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas; and a master of theology and a doctor of ministry from New Orleans Seminary. He is currently a candidate for the Ph.D. program at New Orleans Seminary. Burt and his wife, Rana, have two children.
