University of Mobile Upper Room Theater Presents ‘Godspell’ March 1–3

The Upper Room Theater at the University of Mobile will present the musical “Godspell” at the Saraland Center for Performing Arts at Saraland High School on March 1–2 at 7 p.m. and March 3 at 2 p.m. 

Directed by Bruce Earnest, assistant dean of the UMobile School of Worship Leadership and the Center for Performing Arts/ School of Music, “Godspell” is a musical by Stephen Schwartz based on the Gospel According to St. Matthew. 

Including hit songs “Day by Day,” “Prepare Ye the Day of the Lord” and “By My Side,” this musical reflects on the life of Jesus, with a message of kindness, tolerance and love.
