Valley Creek Church, Hueytown, celebrate renovation, new construction

Valley Creek Church, Hueytown, will celebrate the beginning of renovation on its student center and construction of its new children’s building March 11. Sunday School will be at 9:45 a.m. and worship at 11 a.m. as the church dedicates the new building and renovations. There will be a ground breaking and prayer following the service. The facilities include a new 8,800-square-foot children’s building and renovation of a 4,300-square-foot student center. The children’s building will include space for nursery and preschool complete with an indoor play area. The elementary age children will enjoy two large worship rooms and several class rooms. Our new student center will feature a state-of-the-art worship area that will seat 175 youth. There also will be a recreation area, café/snack bar, student lounge and class rooms.
