Clarke Skelton is the new pastor of Valley Grande Church. He served First Church, Indian Springs, for nine years and as a Southern Baptist representative to South Korea with the International Mission Board for 15 years. Skelton holds a bachelor’s degree in religion with a minor in speech and master of divinity from Southern Seminary in Louisville, Ky. He is currently pursuing a doctor of ministry from New Orleans Seminary. Skelton and his wife, Anita, have two children.4Northside Church, Selma, will celebrate homecoming and its 50th anniversary of the groundbreaking on the original building at the site Nov. 22, 11 a.m. Kenny Hatcher is pastor.
