The PraiseBaby Collection: Born to Worship
Big House Kids
It’s hard to review children’s music to a certain extent, hard to offer comparisons to other artists save for purple dinosaurs or The Wiggles. It’s even harder to review music specifically intended for those 12 to 36 months of age.
I can tell you that the lyrics to the 12 songs on “Born To Worship,” the third installment in “The PraiseBaby Collection,” are all about praising the Lord, but only words like “soothing,” “soft” and “pretty” come to mind when describing its sound.
I can tell you I did want to take a nap while listening (and I may have cooed an “Amen” once or twice). That may very well be the reason “The PraiseBaby Collection” is the best-selling series in what’s known as the audio/video infant/toddler genre.
It is what you want it to be — lullabies about Jesus.
As a father of an 8-month-old, I can safely say this one is a keeper.
An accompanying DVD is sold separately. For more information visit www.bighousekids.com.
