Eric Spivey is the new senior pastor of Vestavia Hills Baptist Church.
He previously served as the senior pastor at First Baptist Church Gainesville, Florida, and FBC Cornelia, Georgia. He also served in multiple roles at The Baptist Church of Beaufort, South Carolina, and held ministry positions with the Savannah and Birmingham Baptist associations. He received a bachelor of arts in human relations at Samford University, a master of divinity from Southwestern Seminary and a doctor of ministry from Gardner Webb University, Boiling Springs, North Carolina.
Spivey and his wife, Marcia, have two daughters.
