Volunteers at Immanuel Baptist Church, Ridgecrest, California, cleaned up damage to the church following a 6.4 earthquake on July 4 only to see their work undone when a 7.1 earthquake struck July 5. The most powerful quakes in California in 20 years have created a sense of dread for some residents. Southern Baptist Disaster Relief volunteers have visited Ridgecrest to assess the needs and provide aid to those affected by the tremors. (BP)
