Do you really want to know God? Then know Him first as your Creator. Do you understand that God created you? God designed you and made you in His image. Some people do not want you to know that He is your Designer and Maker. But your beginning was not in the foam of the ocean. It was in the heart of a loving and almighty God. He formed and fashioned you and then breathed His breath of life into you. So if you really want to know God, then know Him first as your Creator.
Do you really want to know God? Then know Him as your Redeemer. You see, when God first made man, a sweet fellowship existed. Then something dreadful and horrible happened. Man became disobedient to God. The moment that man was disobedient, he brought death and destruction into the world.
Man separated himself from God’s purity and holiness. The only way to bridge that separation was for Someone to come who was completely God and completely man.
God loves you so much that He sent His only Son. That Son’s name is Jesus. Jesus Christ is the only One in history who was completely God and completely man. He took on Himself our failures and was sacrificed on the cross. No one else could do that for you. No one could redeem you but Jesus. So if you really want to know God, then know Him as your Redeemer.
Do you really want to know God? Then know Him as your Guide. Jesus died on the cross, and then three days later, God the Father raised Him from the dead. When Jesus ascended back into heaven, He sent the Holy Spirit to guide you in all truth. Jesus did not leave you hanging out there on a limb. He left us a wonderful companion who takes every step you take and breathes every breath you take. To know God in the fullest and most intimate way is to fully yield your life to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Will you know God today? Knowing is much more than an exercise of the brain; it is fully experiencing Him as your Creator, Redeemer and Guide.
