Every summer, God moves all across Alabama as local churches proclaim the gospel of Jesus through the ministry of Vacation Bible School. And thousands of men, women, youth and children pray to become Christians.
Perhaps you would like to see God move in your life. He can and it is as simple as A, B and C.
Admit to God you are a sinner.
Romans 3:23 tells us “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
That means all of us need God’s forgiveness because Romans 6:23 says, “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Believe that Jesus is God’s Son.
In John 3:16, Jesus teaches “[f]or God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
In 1 John 4:9, the Bible says, “In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.”
Confess your faith in Jesus, and ask Him into your heart.
Romans 10:9–10 assure us “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”
Also John 1:12 tells us “[but] as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.”
If you sincerely admit, believe and confess, then you could begin this amazing journey of faith.
