Washington Baptist Association, new director of missions

Larry Thompson is the new director of missions for Washington Association. He has served as pastor of Three Forks Church, Millry; True Vine Church, Chatom; and Liberty Church, McIntosh. Thompson holds a certificate in biblical studies from Liberty Bible College and Seminary in Homosassa, Florida, and took extension classes in pastoral studies through New Orleans Seminary. He and his wife, Wilene, have two children, three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. His first day was Jan. 1.
