West End Baptist Church, Clanton, recently dedicated its new sanctuary and celebrated its 67th anniversary and homecoming Sept. 25. Interim pastor Mike Shaw spoke during the celebration service and a plaque, constructed from pieces of mahogany from some of the original pews by member Sam Hayes, was presented to the church.
