Westwood Baptist Church, Alabaster, on mission

A medical-evangelistic team comprised of members of First Baptist Church, Pelham; Westwood Baptist Church, Alabaster; and Shades Mountain Baptist Church, Vestavia Hills, traveled to Tarapoto, Peru, May 26–June 3. The team provided hundreds of people with medical and dental care and saw 649 make decisions for Christ. Eight new churches were planted, and 98 Peruvians were trained in evangelism.
