Westwood Baptist in Forestdale celebrating homecoming, relocating building

Westwood Baptist Church, Forestdale, will celebrate its last homecoming at the current location May 4 beginning at 10:30 a.m. Members voted March 2 to sell the facilities to another church and relocate. Shawn Stinson, a former minister of music and currently minister of music at Northside Baptist Church, Jasper, will be leading music. If you would like to be a part of the reunion choir, come at 9 a.m. for a special rehearsal. Following the service, a fellowship lunch will be served. You may bring a favorite covered dish or dessert to help with the meal. Friends, former members and staff are invited. Steve Potts is pastor.
