Westwood Church, Alabaster, new pastor

Matt Brooks is the new pastor of Westwood Church, Alabaster. He holds a master of divinity degree from Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas, and will soon complete his doctor of ministry degree with a major in expository preaching from Southeastern Seminary in Wake Forest, N.C. He previously served as pastor of First Church, Roswell, N.M., and as associate pastor of Prestonwood Church, Plano, Texas. He and his wife, Bren, have two children.
