On April 15, an EF3 tornado destroyed the original sanctuary and children’s education space at Boone’s Chapel. The tornado also damaged the church’s multipurpose building and pastorium.  The church broke ground Jan. 8 for its new 17,000-square-foot facility, which will house classrooms, a worship area and administrative offices.
