Judson College English professor Eloise Whisenhunt received the 2006 Thompson Faculty Award at Judson’s Honors Convocation April 11 in recognition of teaching excellence.
Whisenhunt, a Birmingham native, has been a member of the Judson faculty since August 1998.
She earned degrees from Birmingham-Southern College and Florida State University in Tallahassee and is currently a doctoral candidate at the University of Alabama.
Whisenhunt’s husband, Ted, is professor of art and interim head of the fine and performing arts division at Judson.
