For the fourth year in a row, Winston Baptist Association took a missions trip to South Africa.
Led by Director of Missions Al Hood, the team of seven did door-to-door evangelism and held revival services and a Discipleship Training class. On two mornings, the team went to a clinic and held worship and prayed for the patients.
“It was a good experience,” Hood said of the Sept. 3–14 trip. “This was probably one of the best (trips) because we felt like we were making more of an inroad into the community.”
Even though this was the last year of a four-year partnership with Open Bible Baptist Church, Hood said the association is considering returning to South Africa next year.
