In observance of Veteran’s Day, the University of Mobile will host the third annual Patriots’ Day with a lecture and book signing by World War II (WWII) veterans Col. Glenn Frazier and Dr. Sidney Phillips, accompanied by Phillips’ sister, Katherine Phillips Singer.
These WWII veterans were featured in the PBS documentary “The War.” They will speak Nov. 8 at 11 a.m. in Ram Hall on campus. There will be an intermission at 12 p.m. followed by an informal question and answer session and book signing at 1 p.m. It is open to the public.
