Wyoming leader Sprinkle heads to New England

CASPER, Wyo. — Randy Sprinkle, executive director of the Wyoming Southern Baptist Convention, has accepted a position with the Baptist Convention of New England as transformational leadership director. Sprinkle has led Wyoming Baptists the past two years. Previously he served as director of the International Mission Board’s International Prayer Strategy Office for nine years, and he and his wife, Nancy, were missionaries in Africa for 14 years.

With the New England convention, Sprinkle will establish a new Transformational Leadership Center and develop a strategy for spiritual and missional transformation in churches. Sprinkle is the author of a book on prayer walking, “Follow Me: Becoming a Lifestyle Prayerwalker,” to be rereleased Aug. 1 by the New Hope publishing division of Woman’s Missionary Union. He is working on a book on spiritual warfare in the day-to-day world to be released in 2006.
