Year-to-date CP giving 4.27 percent above goal

NASHVILLE — Year-to-date contributions to Southern Baptist national and international missions and ministries received by the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) Executive Committee are $5,959,045.57, or 4.27 percent, above the year-to-date budgeted goal and are .32 percent above contributions received during the same time frame last year, according to a news release from SBC Executive Committee President and CEO Frank S. Page.

The total includes receipts from state conventions, fellowships, churches and individuals for distribution according to the 2011–2012 SBC Cooperative Program (CP) Allocation Budget.

As of June 30, gifts received by the Executive Committee for distribution through the CP Allocation Budget totaled $145,459,045.57, or 104.27 percent of the $139,500,000 year-to-date budgeted amount to support Southern Baptist ministries globally and across North America.

The total is $464,635.86 more than the $144,994,409.71 received through the end of June 2011.
