Calvary Baptist in Prattville celebrates 75th anniversary

Calvary Baptist Church, Prattville, celebrated its 75th anniversary and homecoming April 6. Mel Johnson, the association’s lead missions strategist, was the guest preacher. Patsy Persons shared a slide show of the church’s history followed by a presentation to the church by Ralph Foster, a commissioner of the Alabama Baptist Historical Commission, with Dave Burns, pastor, accepting the plaque. Special offertory music was provided by Donna Parker.
