Cherokee Baptist Association DOM retiring after more than 21 years

Wendell Dutton is retiring as director of missions for Cherokee Baptist Association effective March 31. He served more than 21 years in this position. He previously served five years as associational missionary for Lookout Mountain Baptist Association and also five years as a pastor of churches in DeKalb Baptist Association. His wife, Marcille, who served as the association’s ministry assistant, clerk and treasurer for more than 19 years, also is retiring. They have four adult children and five grandchildren.
