MONTGOMERY, Ala. — Seven Alabama churches participated in showing a live simulcast promoting prayer for missions worldwide. Beth Moore was the featured speaker for the simulcast, called Lift Up Your Voice … A Call to Prayer. It focused on the book “Voices of the Faithful,” which fosters prayer for missionaries. Moore was joined by International Mision Board President Jerry Rankin and David Jeremiah, pastor of Shadow Mountain Community Church, near San Diego, which was the site of the simulcast.
The Alabama churches that showed the simulcast Jan. 27 were: First Baptist Church, Enterprise; First Baptist Church, Glencoe; Highland Baptist Church, Florence; Lakeview Baptist Church, Auburn; North Glencoe Baptist Church; Valleydale Baptist Church, Birmingham; and Westview Baptist Church, Opp.
