MILL VALLEY, Calif. — An anonymous donor recently pledged $750,000 as a matching gift to Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary to assist in the endowment of the chair of intercultural education. The matching gift represents half of the $1.5 million needed to fully endow the chair and provide perpetual funding. A previous gift had been secured that provides interim funding for the chair until it is endowed and the endowment produces income.
