Wayne Henderson is the new director of missions for Central Association. He comes to the position from Rockford Church, where he had served as pastor since 2002. A pastor for nearly 29 years, Henderson has served several churches in Alabama and one in Kentucky. He also serves as a member of the State Board of Missions of the Alabama Baptist State Convention. Henderson holds a bachelor’s degree from Samford University in Birmingham and a master’s degree from Southern Seminary in Louisville, Ky. He and his wife, Margaret, have two sons and four granddaughters.
