Bethany Church, Phenix City, will celebrate its 50th anniversary and homecoming Oct. 14 with a singing at 9:30 a.m. and worship service at 11 a.m. A fried chicken dinner will follow. A barbecue will be held Oct. 12, 10 a.m.–6 p.m. and Oct. 13, 10 a.m.–4 p.m. The church also will hold an “Open Car Show” Oct. 13, 10 a.m.–6 p.m. with trophies and awards given at 4 p.m. For information call 334-297-1936.
