Aaron Eutah Stone, Alabama Baptist State Board of Mission’s special worker, dies Feb 3

Aaron Eutah Stone, who served the Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions as a special worker in discipleship, died Feb 3. He was 89.

Stone worked closely with then-Alabama Discipleship Training Director John Sawyer and Billy Hunt, then-director of missions for St. Clair Association.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture.

Stone was preceded in death by two sons, Roger and Randy. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Gwen; son, Bob; daughters Mary Jane and Marsha; 14 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
