Alabama Baptists will serve on several committees at the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) annual meeting in Baltimore, Md., June 10–11. A full list of those serving ran in the May 22 issue of The Alabama Baptist.
After press time for the May 22 issue, Fred Luter Jr., SBC president, announced members of the Credentials Committee.
Cade Farris, pastor of First Baptist Church, Wedowee, and Greg Hyche, pastor of First Baptist Church, Brent, will serve on the committee along with representatives from 10 other states.
Also Roger McGee, who grew up at Shiloh Baptist Church, Sardis, and served as youth pastor of the former First Baptist Church, Midfield, will be the annual meeting music director. McGee currently serves as pastor of music and worship for First Baptist Church, Alexandria, Va.
One Voice Choir, the youth choir of First Baptist Church, Montgomery, also will perform June 11.
