Australian’s view

As an Australian Baptist pastor visiting Vacation Bible Schools (VBS) in the Alexander City region, I was impressed, excited, encouraged and enthused at the way that your Alabaman Baptists got “on board for the ‘Boomerang Express.’” The scenery in many churches was tremendously well done. The picture in my mind of one man blowing up a plastic kangaroo will never be erased. But most importantly, it was all about getting the kids to come to Jesus. We used some of the VBS songs recently here in Australia for our own VBS. And the song “Because” … wow.
