Being born again

Being born again

In the Jan. 8, 2004, Comment section, “Belief and Behavior,” I am a little bit confused about the statement under “Judging against self.” What is meant by Barna’s statement “For Christians other than born-agains”? I have been led to believe that no one is a Christian unless they are “born again.”

What did Jesus mean when He said, “Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.” If there is another way to be Christian, then was Jesus beating an empty drum just for the noise?
