It is my firm belief that starting with the president of the Southern Baptist Convention, Christians should personally visit every nationally known advertiser and ask them to use “Christmas” instead of “holiday season.” Other religious groups are not criticized for observing their holy days, only Christians. Their excuse that they don’t want to offend won’t hold water. It seems that only Christians offend. This should extend down to every Baptist church with groups from each church visiting merchants and asking them to do the same. We are celebrating the birth of our living Savior, can we do less?
