With the 2007 Christmas season just around the corner, it is time to begin gathering Christmas cards for the HIV/AIDS inmates at Limestone Correctional Facility. For several years, people across the state have helped with this MAC D ministry. Select cards like you do for your friends. Christmas cards need to be signed with a name or a group. The cards are to bring a little Christmas cheer to some who may not have much to be cheerful about. Remember that as you select your cards. Please remember to pray for the person who will receive your card.
Cards made by children are welcomed. It is a great learning activity for them.
Cards are needed by Dec. 7. Mail them to MAC D Ministries or Scarlett Dunnam, 4030 6th Street East, Tuscaloosa, AL 35404. With postage up, people might want to mail early to avoid Express or Priority Mail rates. For additional information, call 205-553-1592 or e-mail adunnam@bellsouth.net.
