Tuberville called on Brooke Rollins and the U.S. Department of Agriculture to ensure farmers get the support they need during Thursday’s nomination hearing in the Senate Agriculture Committee.
During his breakout session at the Alabama Baptist State Evangelism Conference, Tim Dowdy explained that pastors need to create a culture of evangelism and help each church member embrace the mission to reach their community.
In Maryland and Delaware, only 14 of the 60 colleges and universities have some kind of Baptist ministry going on. In Alabama, which has the same number of campuses, 44 have Baptist campus ministers at work.
During his sermon, Phil Waldrep said the most effective form of evangelism is loving people. He challenged churches to love people well, not show favoritism and call people by name to show them that they’re cared for.
