“You cannot walk with God on a treadmill,” said H.B. Charles Jr., the pastor-teacher of Shiloh Metropolitan Baptist Church of Jacksonville and Orange Park, Florida.
“We are called to trust in Jesus’ authority because of His identity,” Patrick Schreiner said. “We trust Him not only because He gives light, but because He Himself is light.”
“My desire and prayer is that we would leave this chapel time with a larger view of Jesus of Nazareth than the one we came in with and that your passions would be ignited for Him,” said Jeff Medders.
Craig Carlisle reminded students about the relevancy of Scripture while sharing a powerful message from Jeremiah 17 and encouraged students to always choose Christ as their first response during challenging and uncertain times.
“Anything in life that takes your eyes off of Jesus, mark it down, it’s not of God,” Danny Akin said. “Always remember that He got you in the race, He will keep you in the race, and He will get you home.”
