Gerald Max Sims, who served as a bivocational music minister for his entire adult life — most recently at Central Baptist Church in Florence — died Aug. 8.

Louie F. Reynolds Jr., of Enterprise, died June 19. He was the director of religious education at Fort Rucker for more than 26 years and served several Baptist churches. He was 92.
